Beautiful Colorado.....
Have I mentioned lately how pretty Colorado is. I know that after reading my blog that Leanndra and Sis. Becki Horne are going to be very jealous. hehe
This past weekend was great!!!! We did lots of site seeing. Friday, after Dustin came home from work and we ate supper, we went to Palmer Park. For those of you who do not know what that is, well its a park in the center of town that you can drive through and it seriously is like being in the mountains. It is sooooo pretty. We went there and went wock qwimbing as Isaac says. We actually climbed down rocks and there are cliffs and things to look over. Dont worry I had a tight hold on the kids. I was alittle nervous but Isaac and Dustin had so much fun even Aleah loved it and I guess I enjoyed it too, asides from the worrying. We sat up on the overlook and watched the sun go down over the city. Soooo B-U-T-ful!!!
Saturday morning we got up and ate, got dressed, and left for a full day of site seeing. We decided to drive into the mountains. We drove out past Woodland Park all the way to Lake George, which was about a 2 hr drive. It was so pretty driving thru the mountains. On our way back we stopped at Divide and went to the Mueller State Park. It was really neat. We went hiking on some trails in the mountains. It was so fun and Isaac loved it. I do not advise doing this with two small children when you are as out of shape as I am. hehe.
Getting back up the trails was a job. We got back home around 6pm and I cooked some burgers and fries. Later that night we went to Walmart and then to get DQ YUMMY!!!!
Sunday was Fathers Day as well as our Anniversary!! We have been married for 7yrs. A great 7 yrs I might add. Anyways~ so I got up that morning and made Dustin some Homemade Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes. After breakfast we got ready for church. Yesterday was our share service with Pueblo so we went down there for service. Dustin preached and itwas a great time in the Lord and fellowship. After service we went and got KFC and took it back with us to the Lewis's home. We ate, talked, and played Hand and Foot. They are great people and we always have a blast with them. At 11pm we headed home and that concludes our weekend.
I should have pictures on her of Aleahs b-day hopwfully tomorrow. I know Im slow but bare with me.
Oh, Sis. Becki, Dustin and I thought of you while driving thru the mountains. Just wanted to let you know. ~smile!~
