What a week

We have had a rough week. Dus, Aleah, and I have all been sick with head colds. Thank the Lord, Isaac hasn't caught it and I pray he doesn't. I don't know how he has went without getting it because he kisses all over Aleah all the time. I have had migraines all week, not fun that is for sure. But I feel a lot better today.
The kids and I are going to Arkansas and Oklahoma for a visit. We will be flying out on March 10 and staying a week in Arkansas and then my sister is meeting my family in Oklahoma half way and we are going to go stay a week there and fly back home on March 24. I am really excited about getting to see everyone, unfortunately Dus doesn't get to go this time. He will be here working away. What a great guy to let us go though. I know the kids will be so glad to see everyone, especially Isaac, he has been asking to see everyone. And believe me, he list everyone that he wants to see, it takes at least 30 min to list everyone. All you family members that think he has forgotten you, think again. He talks about everyone all the time, telling me about different things he's done with each one of you. Since he can talk where I actually can understand him, hehasn't stopped for one minute. hehe! Anyways I am really excited but a little nervous flying for the first time with two kids, but I 'll be alright.
This weekend is our Colorado District Convention and it is going to be in Craig, which is about 5 hrs from here. I am really looking forward to it. I hope to have alot of good news to blog when we get back. Sis. Horne, maybe we will get some snow while your here just for you. More than likely we will, it seems to like to do that alot here. hehe! I like it too but I am ready for Springs, so I can take the kids the park. Later Bloggers!!!

My Valentine's Day!!!!

I decided to go ahead and tell you about my Valentines Day and how great my husband is. I have a couple pictures but I will post them later. First, on Valentines morning, Dus went into work late and he let me sleep in a little and he took care of the kids. And in my book that was a very great gift, not often you get to sleep and not have to worry about getting up with the kids. He then left for work and about 30 minutes after he left there was a knock at the door, when I opened it I was handed an Edible Bouquet. Yes, food. It was a bouquet made out of fresh strawberries, pineapples, and grapes. The fruit was in the shape of hearts. It was really neat.
I then found a card that he had left by the computer, I opened it and it said all the right things and then at the very bottom it said "Be ready to leave the house at 5pm for dinner reservations. I had really been wanting to go to a Japanese Steakhouse, because I love them, and he had made dinner reservations at Musashi's Japanese Steakhouse. It was very good. We then went and bought some chocolate and white chocolate at Wal-mart and came home and made chocolate and white chocloate dipped fruit from my edible bouquet and then of course we ate it and it was soooooooo good. What a great guy. I will put some pictures of the Edible Bouquet on here soon.

Isaac and Aleah are both doing really good. They are both growing so fast. I can't believe how time flies. I have been battling a migraine for 3 days, but praise the Lord, this morning I woke up and it was gone. We have District convention next weekend in Craig and we are looking forward to going. Dustin has been asked to preach Friday night. I have never been to Craig, CO but I have heard it is very pretty and I must believe it because every other part of Colorado that I have seen so far has been very pretty.

Hmmm...

Not really anything new around here. Aleah did get over the chicken pox, if that is what they were. She didn't have them very bad. We have been having some really beautiful days. Until today, today it is cloudy and lightly snowing again. I think the snow is beautiful but I am ready for warmer weather. I want to get out and go to parks and outdoors stuff.
Last night, as we were getting the kids ready for bed, Isaac hugged Aleah and kissed her on the head like always but then, he said I love you a whole bunch. It was really cute. And its obvious that she loves him too. Isaac has also started waking me up sometimes to go potty during the night. I think that is great and it makes him excited too. Sometimes he doesn't wake up, but I think 3 out of 4 nights he has. I will be so glad when he is completely potty trained. I hate it.
Aleah stands up to everything now and thinks she is so big.
Sorry there's nothing exciting to talk about. Just wanted to post something so everyone doesn't give me the Worst Blogger Award. lol

FINALLY!!!!!

We have had a pretty exciting past few days well to us at least. Starting with a great Superbowl party that we had at the Lewis's house. The Lewis's, some kids from their church, Sis Lola, Br Tim, and us were all there. We had a great time. We ate, watched the superbowl game while eating more, then we set around talking and eating some more. Did I mention that we ate. lol
It was great! We got home late and so we were very tired the next day but it was all worth it.
*ANYWAYS*
Aleah FINALLY got her front two bottom teeth all at once. They are the cutest little teeth. And she definitely knows how to use them. Not only did we spend the weekend breaking teeth through, we also got to have a case of the chicken pox with her. She still has them but its not very bad at all. Isaac has never had them and so far he hasn't got them from her, but there is still time. We have absolutely no idea how she got them, because I hardly ever go anywhere and when I do she is always covered up because of the cold. So, who knows.

Thursday night is going to be my first VLB service. I haven't been an actual VLB leader since before I got married and you all know that was ages ago. lol
I am nervous and excited. The only youth we have as of now, is Dustin and I. I am going to make all of our JOYS, honorary VLB's. I know they will be excited. Hope all is well with everyone.
