Lillie Grace Hays

Welcome to the world Lillie Grace. Our new baby girl was born on September 23 at 10:38 PM. She weighed 10lbs. 5.5oz and was 22" long. Good job Mom for all your hard work. Jamey was a great trooper throughout the entire process. Including my favorite line of the night, "Somebody push on my back quick!" Two hands immediately began pressure, Jamey continues "Not that much, MY GOODNESS!" It was great, I have been reminding her about it all day. Don't worry she thinks it's funny too. I am sure that Jamey will give you her version soon enough for now just now that her and Lillie are doing remarkably well. Also thank you soooooooooooo much to everyone who spent your evenings last night and previous days in prayer for Jamey. It was a great help to her and encouragement to know you were praying. Also thank you to those who took time to call and encourage her leading up to the birth. And a huge thank you to those who more or less put their lives on hold the past few days to help take care of things around the house. Thank you so much to everyone of you we love and appreciate you very much.

Bro. Dustin,
moments like this make the minivan worth it, whether you look cool in it or not. Especially, since we all know, it doesn't matter what you drive, you still won't look cool!

PRAISE GOD!!! I'm SO HAPPY and so proud of all of you! I thank you for putting your faith and trust in God to deliver this beautiful baby girl. I know God will honor you for your commitment. I can tell you that I was praying at the very time she was born (as well as for the previous 24 hours or so before that). God had His hand in this birth. I hope to hear the birth story in person at Ladies' Retreat! YIPPEE!! I get to come! I hope you'll be there, Jamey, along with the youngest little lady in the SW Region. I love all of you. (Yes, even Dustin)

Wow--this is the most comments I've ever seen on a post in a 6 hour period of time! WELL DESERVED THEY ARE and I agree with every one of them. Particularly Brother Ryan's. (Who knew he had such insight?!) Lillie is beautiful! She looks just like Aleah to me, who, of course, looks juts like Jamey. And I have a whole new respect for you, Jamey. I thought it was cool when Joe was 9 lbs... but you definitely deserve a prize! Wowzers!!! What a woman! No wonder you were in labor off and on for so long--your body needed lots of prep to deliver a baby that size! You did GREAT and we can't wait to see all of you! :-)

Lillie looks like a baby doll in that last picture. Poor Aleah she was not feeling well and she had just fallen asleep a few minutes before she got to hold her. Oh, btw Jamey she told us when she came down stairs that you had, had a puppy...HAHA !!!!!
