Cookout and Hiking.....

Today was a really fun day, well at least this afternoon was. This morning I did cleaning and laundry. There's not much fun in that. But once Dustin got home from work, him, the kids, and I packed up and headed to Palmer Park once again. This time we decided to cookout. We cooked ribs and hot dogs on the grill and we had chips and potato salad to go with it. It was really good. While we was waiting on the food to get done. We played with some water guns. Isaac loved it. He loved getting Dus and I all wet. He was drenched needless to say by the end of it. Lots of fun! After we ate, we went rock climbing, actually more like hiking today. We saw a lizard and Isaac loved watching it. I think even Aleah enjoyed that. We went down alot of trails and had a really great time. We collected some pretty neat rocks and we brought them home. We also picked up some rocks to paint. We got home and I bathed the kids and then Isaac and I painted some rocks. He loved it. It was a good mother/son time. I dont get those very often since Aleah. She is always right in the middle of it. I really enjoyed getting to paint with him. Well that was our day. Now I'm off to make some Caramel Popcorn. YUM!!!

Fun,Fun, and More Fun....

We had a great weekend. Friday after Dustin got off work we headed down to Pueblo to spend the weekend with the Lewis's. Friday night we had Chicken Alfredo and then spent the rest of the night playing games until 3am. Lots of fun!! On Saturday we got up and around and Br. Keven fixed us brunch, pancakes and eggs. Very yummy!
Then we all went to the park and fed the ducks and the kids really enjoyed that. Afterwards, we went to the Riverwalk. We let the kids run through the fountains and they were soaked. They loved it, even Aleah played in it. After the riverwalk, we went thru Wendy's drivethru and took our food back to the Lewis' house. We ate of course and then back to the game playing. We ended up leaving to head back to springs around9pm. Great Times!

On Sunday, we had two visitors. Lorenzo and Sara Garcia. They were very sweet people and you can tell that they love the Lord. They really enjoyed the service and said they would be back next Sunday. They both work nights so they can't come to our weeknight service right now. They are asking for prayer to get on day shifts. They asked if they could make some mexican food for all the church members next Sunday and go to the park near the church after church and eat and fellowship. They said they would really like to get to know all of us, and likewise us them. Please continue to pray that the Lord will open their eyes and they will see His church. We are very excited and very thankful to the Lord for these souls. PTL!

The kids, hum, lets see, Isaac is talking much plainer now and we can finally understand him a lot better. He is growing up so fast. He is becoming a bossy one though. He thinks he can boss Aleah around and then she screams and then the real boss has to step in. hehe..
He is learning more of his alphabet, numbers, and he already knows almost all his colors. I am planning to go ahead and start really working to help him learn all of the alphabet, numbers, and colors the rest of the way. He is very smart and I know he will catch on fast if I can only get him to set still for nore than 2 seconds. He gets that from his father, Dustin cant sit still either.
Aleah is turning into something else. She has learned how to get up on the beds and off and how to get up on the dining table. I have to get her all the time for that. She sings and dances all the time. She loves it. Both kids are doing great.

Well in 3 days I'm off again. The kids and I will flying to Arkansas on Thurday. My sister is having her 2nd baby on Friday and I am going to help her for a week. She also has a 2yr old and she will need some help, so whats a big sister to do except go help.
Everyone else has to work and so I get the privilege of spoiling my nephew and my NEW niece for a week. Yea!! Please say a prayer for our safe flight and all. I probably wont be able to blog while I'm gone, but when I get back I should have some new pictures to put up here.
Until next time.

So Much To Tell....

I am not even sure where to begin. A lot has happened since my last blog. First camp, It was great! We had a really good time. It was great classes, great music, and great services. PTL! It was also a great time of fellowship. It was nice getting to know everyone a little bit more. It was neat having family camp. I have been at family retreats, but family camp was so much more. I guess just more time. All in all it was GREAT!!! I really can't remember what all took place, its been to long.
Second Regional Convention, We had a blessed convention. Every session was wonderful and could feel the spirit of the Lord. Br. Byers and the Wantulok family was a true blessing to camp and convention. Dustin got reappointed to Colorado Springs to pastor and he is also the new Men's Retreat Coordinator. We had a great time visiting and fellowshipping as well.

On the 4th of July, we celebrated by going to Palmer Park and we went rock climbing. It was alot of fun but also nerve racking trying to make sure the kids were being safe, meaning Isaac and Dustin. hehe. After rock climbing we cooked Hamburgers and hot dogs and then we were off to Memorial Park to watch Fireworks. We took drink, cookies, and blankets. The fireworks were really good. Isaac hated the fireworks, he always has, but Aleah loved them. She would yell and clap her hands everytime one would go up. It was so funny to watch her.

I guess that's all for now, lata.
