CHRISTMAS IS GONE

Hey everyone, hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. We had a great Christmas except we didnt get to be with any of our families on Christmas day. Dustin's mom and Mike did come out a day before though and that was great. We enjoyed getting to spend time with them. The kids loved seeing them. Just wish they could have stayed longer. This year was a little harder because it was the first year we weren't able to spend it with any of our family, but we still had a good time. The kids had a great time opening their gifts. This year Isaac really got into opening his presents. And Aleah was even opening her presents. She would tear the paper, although she was more interested in the paper then the presents. On Christmas Eve, our local church gathered at Br. Kelly's house and had our Sunday school lesson and sang songs, then we had refreshments and visited. It was a very enjoyable time. Then, that night Dus, the kids, and myself rented Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer, and the Grinch. We watched movies and made Nachos. It was fun. The next morning we read the Christmas story, sang a song, and had a prayer, then we opened gifts. I then had to get into the kitchen and finish my cooking for ou Christmas dinner.Dustin is such a good husband, he straightened everything back up and helped get the kids ready while I cooked. Two of our members, Br Bill and Sis, Dodie came over and had Christmas dinner with us. We all had a good time. It was however, the first actual Christmas dinner that I have ever cooked alone. It all turned out so I was excited about that. Well that was our Christmas. Hope you all had a great one.

Sounds like you had a marvelous time. I am so happy that you were able to enjoy your first Christmas in spite of the fact that your family wasn't with you. I know that your family was a true blessing to Sis. Dodie and Bro. Bill.
